GASSAN is seeking a Jewelry Purchasing Associate

GASSAN Diamonds is immediately looking for an enthusiastic Purchasing Associate for the jewelry purchasing team at our headquarters. We are seeking a ‘no-nonsense’ colleague who knows how to get things done and can work both quickly and accurately. Do you have an affinity for international top brands in watches and jewelry? What are you responsible for?  
In the jewelry purchasing department, you ensure that daily operations run smoothly. You handle requests from the organization, process client orders, and create brand analyses, maintaining an overview of monthly performance. Terms like margins and turnover rates are familiar to you. In close collaboration with various GASSAN locations, you ensure that collections and sets are complete to support turnover. You are meticulous, punctual, love taking initiative and finishing tasks, and enjoy analyzing numbers. Your analytical skills help us turn insights into concrete actions that boost jewelry sales. You will be part of the jewelry purchasing team, assisting in daily operations.

Your responsibilities:
•   Purchasing tasks within the team, handling daily administrative duties: purchasing, administration,    client orders, answering emails, finalizing ongoing daily tasks, and responding to colleagues' requests promptly and accurately.
•  Maintaining contact with our jewelry suppliers; you will become the ambassador for several jewelry brands.
•  Conducting brand analyses for jewelry brands, tracking monthly performance, with Excel being second nature to you, and optimizing turnover rates.
•  Regular commercial rounds per location to assess needs from both a sales and purchasing perspective, supported by data.
•  Ensuring collection sets are complete across all locations.
•  Preparing meetings with brands by gathering data on sales, inventory, and needs.
•  Acting as a link between Purchasing and Marketing for the development and procurement of campaign collections (e.g., for Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day).
