Gassan Diamonds is an Amsterdam diamond manufacturer located at the former steam-powered diamond grinding factory on the Uilenburgergracht. In this monumental building we will gladly let you peek over the shoulders of our diamond grinders. A guide will give you an explanation of the diamond machining process.
The free guided tour of the grinding shop is a unique experience. At Gassan Diamonds you will experience what diamond grinding feels like and get a taste of over 425 years of craftsmanship and tradition.
During your visit to Gassan Diamonds you will have the opportunity to view a variety of diamonds from our impressive range in our showrooms. Of course you will find the world-famous “Amsterdam Cut” and our own cut shape: the Gassan 121. We are the only diamond manufacturer in the world to cut diamonds with 121 facets. And of course you can find a jewel in our Boutique that our goldsmiths can put together for you within 30 minutes: ideal as a gift for yourself or someone you love.
The fashionable jewellery collection Choices by DL is also being heralded. It is ‘a jewellery wardrobe in a box’. And for good reason: using a beautifully simple system, you can choose gold color preference and vary the stone colour you require, instantaneously.
If you’d like to reserve a guided tour of our diamond polishing shop, we recommend that you make an online booking. That way you can be sure that a guide in your language is available to take you on the tour at the time you want.
