GASSAN Diamonds B.V.
About the department:
The Events, Partnerships & Sales department is lively and dynamic—no two days are the same. The department consists of an enthusiastic team of 12 people, divided across events, partnerships, and sales.
About the role:
The Event Planner is partly responsible for the organization and execution of the many diverse events organized by the Marketing & Sales department. These range from in-house events at various GASSAN locations to external events in which GASSAN participates.
Examples include Jumping Amsterdam, Dutch Masters, Lengers, and Masters EXPO, as well as the planning of various partner activations in collaboration with Life After Football/Oger, Louwman, and several high-end partners, along with exclusive openings of GASSAN boutiques.
This is just a selection of the wide variety of events GASSAN is involved in and highlights the diversity of the Event Planner role. Aspects of event organization—such as marketing activities, staff planning, and maintaining contact with both internal and external parties (including catering, entertainment, media, and partners)—require excellent preparation.
This is achieved by sending clear and structured briefings, ensuring that all involved parties are well informed. The ability to plan ahead and work in a solution-oriented manner is essential. The Event Planner reports directly to the Marketing & Sales Manager, who holds overall responsibility.
