About the role

The GASSAN Diamonds workshop is looking for a qualified Goldsmith. A recognised professional qualification in goldsmithing is required.

Our workshop is a dynamic department within GASSAN, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a laser welder, various computer-controlled engraving machines, 3D CAD design software, and GRS stone-setting workbenches. Our skilled team brings our customers’ jewellery wishes to life every day.

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working in an inspiring environment and has a creative mindset.
• Holds a recognised Goldsmith diploma or professional qualification.
• Is available to work full-time or part-time (minimum of 4 days per week).
• Can work both independently and as part of a team.
• Is customer-focused, flexible, and performs well under pressure.
• Is willing to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Has an excellent command of Dutch and a basic knowledge of English.

Your responsibilities

• Resizing and setting sold jewellery pieces.
• Setting one of our beautiful diamonds into jewellery.
• Repairing customers’ jewellery.
• Crafting new jewellery and setting diamonds for our clients.
• Advising our showroom sales team on technical jewellery matters.
• Polishing and cleaning jewellery at exhibitions and events, showcasing our craftsmanship.

You will have a varied position within a team of 12 experienced Goldsmiths who support one another and foster a positive working atmosphere. You may also work at one of GASSAN’s other locations in Amsterdam.
