From Paris to P.C. Hooftstraat: Messika takes its next step in Europe

Amsterdam's P.C. Hooftstraat is set to welcome a new international name at the end of 2026. GASSAN and the French jewellery house Messika are joining forces for the opening of the very first Messika boutique in the Netherlands. The new shop will become the fourth GASSAN location on this well-known shopping street. The partnership was recently formalised in Paris. On the rooftop terrace of the Messika headquarters on the Champs-Élysées, Debora Huisman-Leeser and Valérie Messika signed the agreement. Messika was founded in 2005 and has since firmly established itself in the world of modern haute joaillerie. The brand is known for its contemporary, playful approach to diamonds, giving classic jewellery a refreshing new form. The iconic Move collection, featuring moving diamonds, is the most recognisable example of this. Internationally, Messika enjoys wide recognition and is worn by influential names from fashion and entertainment, including Beyoncé, Bella Hadid, and Julianne Moore. With recent collections such as ‘Moderniste’, the house continues to develop within the luxury segment. Messika has also been visible in the Netherlands for some time, most notably through recurring presentations at MASTERS EXPO, where the brand consistently draws attention.
