In the 1960s, Ole Lynggaard visited the museum of Cairo and was hypnotized with the sculptural beauty of serpent ornaments. Coiling fine jewellery snakes remained inside the designer’s mind for half a century, before Snakes was unveiled at the brand’s 50th anniversary in 2013.
