GASSAN is looking for a full-time All-Round Facilities Assistant to join the Internal Services department with immediate effect.

Are you a proactive, hands-on Facilities Assistant who keeps an overview and ensures that facilities operations run smoothly? We are looking for a motivated colleague who takes ownership of our facilities services and helps support our continued growth.

As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management and maintenance of our building and workplace, ensuring that everything runs efficiently and seamlessly.

In this versatile role, you will be responsible for:

  • Warehouse management: Receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries while maintaining accurate inventory records. You will also perform weekly stock counts and help optimise inventory management.
  • Maintenance and repairs: Carrying out minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, painting, and small renovation projects. You will also ensure the upkeep of our showrooms and offices. For larger maintenance projects, you will coordinate with external contractors.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolving or reporting technical issues involving systems such as the pneumatic tube system, air conditioning, and elevators.
  • Supporting events and meetings: Preparing meeting and event spaces, ensuring all required facilities and equipment are available, and assisting with clearing and resetting rooms afterwards.
  • External coordination: Maintaining contact with suppliers and external service providers for major maintenance projects and other facility-related matters.

Required skills and experience

  • Education and experience: A completed MBO-level vocational education, preferably combined with experience in a logistics or facilities-related role.
  • Skills: A proactive, hands-on attitude with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. You are flexible, willing to go the extra mile when needed, and able to respond quickly to urgent situations.
  • Emergency Response (BHV): You hold a BHV (Company Emergency Response) certificate or are willing to obtain one.
  • Flexibility: You are able to work both independently and as part of a team and can manage a variety of tasks and projects.
  • Communication: You are service-oriented and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
