The Accounting and Payroll Department of GASSAN is looking for a new colleague to join the team as soon as possible who:
- Has a higher professional education level (HBO) with a degree in a relevant field such as Business Economics or Business Administration;
- Has accounting experience;
- Possesses strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Dutch and English;
- Is experienced in using MS Office, particularly Excel;
- Is accurate, proactive, independent, resourceful, and disciplined;
- Is able to work in a team in a results- and goal-oriented manner to meet deadlines;
- Is stress-resistant;
- Has an affinity with payroll administration;
- Is willing to deepen their knowledge of laws and regulations related to payroll processing;
- Is eager to further develop in payroll processing through training;
- Is available full-time or part-time (minimum of 4 days per week).
Responsibilities include:
- Posting and processing financial transactions;
- Assisting with the monthly closing, including reconciling interim accounts;
- Supporting activities related to the annual audit;
- Assisting in the preparation and processing of payroll administration;
- Performing AO/IB activities (administrative organization/internal control);
- Accounts receivable management.
