General terms and conditions GASSAN Schiphol B.V.  promotion

These Terms and Conditions apply to the promotional games of chance "Guess and Win" of GASSAN Schiphol B.V., hereinafter referred to as "the promotion". By participating in the relevant Promotion, the Participant agrees to the following Game Terms and Conditions and General Terms and Conditions.

Visitors to the Privium Lounge at Schiphol Airport, can guess how many zirconia crystals there are in the champagne glass presented by GASSAN Schiphol. The answer chosen by the participant can be entered by a designated application and/or form. Participants with the correct amount of guessed diamonds will have a chance to win the prize.

The prize consists of a GASSAN 121® diamond worth €510. The value has been determined by GASSAN Schiphol B.V. and is based respectively on the recommended retail price including VAT of a similar diamond.

Employees of GASSAN Diamonds B.V. and/or GASSAN Schiphol B.V. and external parties with whom GASSAN Diamonds and/or GASSAN Schiphol B.V. cooperates are excluded from participation. Furthermore, "all Privium employees" are excluded from participating in this prize draw.

Article 1 - Duration of the Promotion

1.1 The Win Promotion is valid from 7 February 2024 to 14 February 2024, hereinafter referred to as "the Promotion Period".

Article 2 - Participation in the Promotion

2.1 Participation in the Promotion is open to anyone who fulfils the set conditions.

2.2 Participation in the Promotion takes place when the participant enters his/her details on the application and/or form designated by GASSAN Schiphol B.V..

2.3 Participants are obliged to provide correct information when participating in the  Promotion.

2.4 GASSAN Schiphol B.V. does not request any compensation or such like for the provision of personal data (see Article 3 - Personal data) for participation in the Promotion.

2.5 Participation is open to travellers with a Privium, Privium Plus and/or a Amex membership and 18 years of age or older.

2.6 Each participant may only participate in the Promotion once.

2.7 GASSAN Schiphol B.V. is entitled to disqualify participants and/or exclude them from participation if it believes that the participants are not acting in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions or if the participants are otherwise fraudulently gaining access to the Promotion or are unfairly influencing the course of the Promotion.

2.8 There are no costs associated with the participation.

Article 3 - Personal data

3.1 The participant consents to the processing of personal data in connection with participation in the competition. GASSAN Schiphol B.V. may include the personal data in its database, which will be treated confidentially (see privacy policy).

3.2 The personal data provided will not be shared with third parties.

3.3 If requested by GASSAN Schiphol B.V., the participant must provide correct and complete data. Incorrect or incomplete data will result in invalid participation.

Article 4 - Registrations

4.1 The participant shall ensure and warrant that the Submission complies with these Conditions. Entries that do not comply with the Conditions may be excluded from participation in the competition by GASSAN Schiphol B.V., at its discretion and without giving reasons. This applies inter alia to late Entries.

4.2 If GASSAN Schiphol suspects fraud or influence on the Promotion, it may exclude an Entry and/or participant from participation in the Promotion.

4.3 GASSAN Schiphol B.V. is never liable for incorrect information provided by the participant. Furthermore, GASSAN Schiphol B.V. is never liable for malfunctions in computers, applications, networks, peripherals, electronic devices and/or related persons which lead to malfunctioning or unsuccessful participation and/or Submissions.

Article 5 - Drawing of the Promotion

5.1 The Promotion counts one participant.

5.2 The winner of the Promotion must have given a correct answer to the question of the Promotion.

5.3 Should no correct answer be given during the Promotion, GASSAN Schiphol B.V. can stop the promotion without any winner or appoint a winner with the closest answer.

5.4 GASSAN Schiphol B.V. or Privium will inform the winner by 17 February 2024.

5.5 If the winner of the Promotion after notification of the prize does not contact GASSAN Schiphol B.V. within 72 hours, GASSAN Schiphol B.V. is obliged to appoint a new winner.

5.6 The winner of the Promotion will be awarded by GASSAN Schiphol B.V. by email.

Article 6 - Redeemability of the Prize

6.1 The prize awarded through the Promotion is not redeemable for cash, gift vouchers or other goods or services.

Article 7 - The Prize

7.1 The Prize consists of a GASSAN 121® diamond worth €510. The value has been determined by GASSAN Schiphol B.V. and is based respectively on the recommended retail price including VAT of a similar diamond.

7.2 The prize will be presented either by an employee of the Privium Lounge and/or by an employee of Gassan Schiphol. In doing so, the Participant must of course identify himself by means of his passport or other valid proof of identity.

Article 8 - Other Provisions

8.1 These Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of the Netherlands and shall be interpreted in accordance with such laws.

8.2 In cases not provided for in the Promotion Terms and Conditions, the management of GASSAN Schiphol B.V. will decide.

8.3 GASSAN Schiphol B.V. reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the Conditions of Competition or the Promotion at any time if this is deemed necessary.

Article 9 - Special provisions

9.1 Gassan will ensure that any applicable gaming tax is withheld.

Article 10 - Complaint procedure

10.1 For any questions, complaints or comments about the Promotion, please use the contact form. When doing so, always mention the name of the Promotion. GASSAN Schiphol B.V. aims to respond within three working days.
